Evie is bred for dressage. She brings the best of Danish and German Shagya breeding and combines it with impeccable US foundation stock. From the well-known stallions Shagal, Shandor, and Starwalker she inherits height, bone, and lovely movement. From both her sireline and damline she inherits the elegance and toughness of the best Arabian blood, including Gharib ox (the black pearl of Marbach) and Pilot ox (saved by General Patton from Janow Podlaski in WWII). As most Shagya, she is highly people-orientated and is kind, gentle, and sweet, with easy rideability.

Evie has correct conformation, with a strong foundation, great feet, and harmonious frame. She has a high-set neck, good pillar of support, long, sloping shoulders, steep-angled humerus, a longer ilium than femur alignment, low stifle placement, and a fair alignment between her point of hip and the lumbosacral gap. Points to correct include her topline, which needs some strength, and slightly less angle in her lumbosacral alignment.

At her evaluation, judges praised her good, long shoulder, prominent withers, and big, harmonious frame. Her walk was judged as flowing and forward (8), her trot as forward, elastic, and elevated with good rhythm and the potential to lengthen it easily (8), and her canter as balanced and active, more ground-covering than elevated (7).
