HERITAGE
SIRE: GP RAYMEISTER / HOLSTEINER / 1999
Raymeister (pictured above) was bred by Ken Borden. During his career, Ray won three USDF horse of the Year titles, at Training Level, at Prix St Georges, and at the Intermediare II, the year before he started the Grand Prix. He has also won 17 Regional Championships, 23 All Breed Awards, two USEF National Titles, and he represented the United States at the FEI Young rider World Cup.
According to Helmut Schrant, Grand Prix rider and Training Director of the 2002 Stallion Performance Test, “Ray could be a Grand Prix dressage horse or a Grand Prix jumper. I could easily see him go either way. He is very versatile.”
Ray’s first foal, Rashka, is 2004 USDF Weanling Colt Reserve Horse of the Year. His filly, Rising Star, won 2nd at the Regional Championship show. Of the five foals in Ray’s first crop, three are premium (the 2 colts were recommended for stallion prospects!), and the other two scored 7.9. Ray’s 2005 premium filly, Rehlein, out of Chloe by Opus, won the Fillies of 2005 Championship, Regional Young Horse Championship, and was the East Central Cosequin/USDF Breeders Series Grand Champion Filly.
DAM: EVENING AFTER xx / THOROUGHBRED / 1982
Evening After xx was a six-figure hunter mare who won almost everywhere! She won at Palm Beach, Devon, Harrisburg, and Washington. She produced IHJA HOY ‘Till Evening, and many top placing IHF winners. At age 21, at her Selle Francais mare inspection, she scored all between 7.5 and 9!
