The foal’s sire is E.H. Abendtanz, a black Elite and Premium Trakehner stallion bred by Heinrich Behr and standing at Royal Palm Farm in Florida. He is by Hirtentanz — 2023 Trakehner Stallion of the Year, by Axis, by Sixtus — and out of the Elite mare Amazing by Kostolany. His sire line runs through Habicht and Burnus AA to the Shagya stallion Lapis, who carried his German cavalry officer through the full ordeal of the Russian campaign, surviving 6,000km over the eastern front sometimes with only the straw from thatched rooftops for fodder, emerging sound — and becoming a cornerstone of both the Trakehner and Shagya-Arabian breeding programs. Abendtanz competed through 1.40m show jumping across 74 career starts and won the 2013 Trakehner National Show Jumping Championship. The foal’s dam is Miss Minto xx (Missy), a bay Thoroughbred foaled April 28, 2010, bred by Daniel T. O’Ryan and standing 16.1hh. Her sire Suave is by AP Indy — 1992 Horse of the Year, by Seattle Slew out of Weekend Surprise by Secretariat — a sire line that concentrates three of the most durable and influential American Thoroughbred stallions of the twentieth century within three generations. AP Indy earned over $2.9 million racing and became a leading sire of leading sires; Seattle Slew was the only horse to win the Triple Crown undefeated; Secretariat’s records at the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont still stand. Her dam Dirty Harryette raced 50 starts. She is by Unaccounted For — a stakes winner by Private Account, a son of Damascus out of Numbered Account by Buckpasser, one of the great American staying families. Private Account sired six millionaires including Hall of Fame fillies Personal Ensign and Inside Information, and is recognized as a consistent source of soundness and cooperative temperament across generations. Dirty Harryette’s dam Clever Act is by Gulch, a son of Mr Prospector, adding the Raise a Native speed line alongside the stamina of the dam side. AP Indy earned $2,979,815 across 11 starts; Suave earned over $1 million across 27. The pattern across every branch of the first four generations of Missy’s pedigree is horses that ran long and stayed sound. 

Her temperament is her most prepotent genetic trait. Both existing offspring — by stallions with meaningfully different pedigree architecture — score 9/10 for cooperative, amateur-suitable character, confirming genetic prepotency across divergent crosses. Her 2019 filly Mahalia (by Ehrentanz KD, Hirtentanz line) stands 16.3hh and is in training for eventing, demonstrating improved uphill geometry, correct pillar of support, and a long-femur rear triangle over her dam.
