Galahad TF

Ruling Galahad TF (“Romeo”) is a black/brown KWPN-NA gelding bred for the upper levels of sport, combining the modern brilliance of the Totilas dynasty with the rideability and durability of classic Trakehner lines.

The Pedigree

Romeo is sired by Gaudi SSF, the first US-based son of the legendary Totilas. Gaudi also brings the influential blood of his elite dam, Annabel (De Niro), renowned for producing high-performance offspring with active hind legs and exceptional suspension.

Romeo’s dam, Hope of Tantris, anchors this pedigree with significant verified performance blood. Her sire, the Grand Prix stallion Tantris, was celebrated in the US for his longevity, correct conformation, and the high degree of rideability he passed to his offspring. The damline is further strengthened by the Olympic show jumper Abdullah (Great-Damsire), introducing proven versatility, intelligence, and athleticism suitable for both the dressage and hunter rings.

Conformation & Type

Expected to mature to approximately 16.2h, Romeo presents a correct, uphill foundation. He exhibits a strong topline, a high-set neck, and the “looking” presence desirable in a future competition horse.

Development & Future

Romeo is currently being started under saddle (January 2026). In his early work, he is demonstrating a sensible, workable character typical of the Tantris line. He is an intelligent young horse who is developing three correct, rhythmic gaits.

Given his bloodlines and temperament, Romeo is well-suited for a competitive career in dressage, though the Abdullah influence suggests natural aptitude for the hunter/equitation disciplines as well.
